I wake up between 6 and 6:10 every morning, usually to shower..it depends on how tired I am. I get ready, prepare breakfast and then have a house quiet time from 7-7:45. It is awesome to spend so much time with my Daddy in the mornings. We used to ride the bus to our school but us girls at K1-my house name-we walk..it makes me feel great exercising! :) We begin worship around 8:30 on Mondays followed by intercession. Prayer intercession is absolutely amazing. I never realized how God truly wants to talk to me. We break at 10-10:30, which is a time where a lot of us walk down the street to the 7-Eleven. They give us free cookies, usually daily! From 10:30 until 12:30 we have class time with a different topic every week. Lunch begins at 12:30 and ends around...1:15ish. On Mondays we have recreation from 1:30-3:15, which gets pretty competitive. One Monday we played a huge school game of kickball and today we played games of volleyball. The boys really get into it..imagine that. haha. Once again, Mondays, from 3:30-5:30 is we have CR's (Community Responsibilities). These differ from lawn care to church clean up, to meal prep, to pretty much anything. After CR we have supper and then on Monday nights are free to do whatever. Porch night is also on Monday nights-all the guys usually go to watch Monday night football! hahahaha It is huge competition here!
This is my typical Monday!!
This is me... my YWAM journey.

Jordan and Myles!
Background Information: First Saturday here at Youth With A Mission. Orientation has already taken place, yet no starting of classes or discussion about outreach.
It's a cool breezy night here in Orlando and everyone is pumped to see the city and get some stuff that we forgot to pack.... So we all pile into this school bus that drives about 15 minutes to an Outlet center. About 50 of us unloaded and splited up to grap the things we needed. Amber and I headed to a Super Target [yes I said super target!] to grap somethings of no importance... Anyways... We got tired of shopping... [yes, Amber got tired of shopping-Miricle in it's self!].... so we wanted to get some food, yet we were being unusually picky... Nothing seemed great to us... We walked and walked and walked and finally Amber said "Let's go to subway" So we did. I didn't eat because I wanted pasta but I went along with them. It was Amber, Adam (another DTS student) and I. We headed in and when we got to the registar a nice man give Amber and I both free drinks and chips. We were greatly appriciated of the generosity of this nice person! How could he know we are broke missionarys? haha. Anyways, we grabbed a seat and they began to eat... The nice guy leaned over the counter when we were almost done and asked where we were from because we must not be from Florida with the way we talk... So I explained what YWAM was all about and encouraged him to check it out online! At this time the holy spirit was just taking over the conversation and what was yet to come. At this time, Amber and I felt led to write this nice man a note and tell him to have a great night and thanks for the food. So thats what we did! Right as we were finishing it up we see him walking out because his shift ended. We handed him the note and out the door he went. We thought we would never see him again but God definatly had other plans... With the finishing up with the food the converstion became intense. Adam was asking Amber and I if God called one of us to India and the other to Jordan, would we go? Our immediate answer was YES. That we were completely consumed with what God has for both of us, we would listen. Then we explained to him that we thought he was calling us both to Jordan because of some incounters that we have already had with it. But, that we really wanted God to confirm it very clearly. So, we are walking out of Subway talking about this very subject now and we hear this car horn... we kept walking... but we kept hearing it... and then saw hands waving us over. So we thought since we had a guy with us, we would be safe. When we got over there we saw that it was the guy from Subway and a girl was with him. We instantly connected with them both and the conversation just kept going. We talked about everything and anything. Then the girl in the car was like "I was just telling him that my life sucks and that I wanted happiness and you guys just brought that to me". That in it's self just filled Amber and myself up. It was just awesome. Then the girl was like, "omg... I have to add you on facebook!" So we told her our names and then "We were like what is your name?" She was like "My name is Jordan"... WE FLIPPED OUT! We did the Amber and Joanne scream that most of ya'll know so well... haha. She asked what was going on and so we told her about how we needed God to confirm where to go on outreach and he totally provided! She was so excited just to know that she was a blessing to us.. After that we took some pictures and even prayed over Jordan and Myles. It was an incrediable experience and we still contact them today. God was so good and he has already provide for us in so many different ways. So don't doubt if you think God can't personally hand deliever something!

Sorry!
Just want you to know that I am very sorry for not keeping this up to date! It's been a crazy three weeks here! So much has happened in so little time! But I promise, well I'm going to try to get better at this. haha. But starting off... We now have 11 girls in our house and guess what? Not one argument so far! We all get along great and really just pour into eachother which is amazing! We pray as a room each night and just lift each other up. A personal prayer request for myself right now would be my Grandpa...So if you get any extra time please just say a prayer for him! It would be greatly appriciated! Thank you all for your prayers and support already! God's hand is moving in amazing ways already and Amber and I can't wait to see what else he has instore. Please keep us both in your prayers. :))

Un dia!
6 girls, one bathroom, one closet, two dresser drawers each... What an experience! It's a little packed but it's so much fun. Lets just say, we got really close, really fast. If you catch my drift. We headed to lunch soon after that and had an informational meeting. Amber's mom and older sister came at this time and brought us some goodies, praise the Lord! haha. The fan helped out so much! It gets a little toasty in there sometimes. Dinner time comes along and soon after we find ourselves just hanging out at our cute little yellow house. I love all the girls. Amber and I are the only one's from GA so we get made fun of a tid bit for saying ya'll and some other things. One thing that they say is "that's so boss" I think i'm coming back with a northern accent so beware! haha. :)
Travel day!
I’m a little behind but wanted you to know each detail of the trip down. Haha. :) Anyways, the trip began with my alarm clock going off at 5:20, yet to soon find out I never got out of the bed and slept till 5:53. With the nerves and rush of being late, the day didn't start out to well. I had much to do in such a short period of time, yet John helped me so so much. He loaded the truck and we soon found our way to DQ to meet up with some friends before we headed out on the 7 hour trip. We said our good-byes, shredded some tears and exchanged some hugs. Before we knew it, we were off... but not to far. We had to stop for gas right away. Long story short, we went inside to pay and when we came back out Amber started to pump gas as a scream erupted from me. Amber had hit a bird!! It was stuck in the grill of her SUV. We are girls, and thought of all the things we could do for it. If we got it out, we could get a disease. If we didn't, it wouldn't do any harm to either of us. So that’s what we decided to do. Leave it. haha. Anyways fast forward a couple hours and we are to the Florida line. We pull over and of course take pictures there. Getting back into the car, we noticed the bird had made it with us to Florida! We now felt a little tired and I kinda fell asleep on Amber for about an hour...opps! Sorry girly! We finally arrive around 4 o'clock and pull up to the wrong house and no one would answer the ywam phone so we were kinda stuck... But we finally find the K1 house and unload our stuff. We get to know some of the girls and now can call them friends! That night falling asleep was a piece of cake for sure!

twenty-six days and counting.
Its almost here. In twenty-six days I will be loading up a ford escape that will be traveling down to Orlando, Florida to fullfill the calling God has on my life. I can't believe it's so soon. I can recall all the way back to 9th grade when I got back from Albania thinking to myself this is what I want to do when I get out of high school. It seemed like a petty dream back then, but as time was slowly ticking away, I found the dream to become reality for me. God was slowly but surely preparing me for what his plans were for my life. I even can remember last year thinking to myself... college or following God's will?... On the outside view, the choice seemed real easy. I wish I could say the same for the worldly view. Everyone thought, you, Joanne straight A Renshaw, not going to college? Even one of my best friends disagreed with this choice. Yet, I knew God's voice was so evident in this will he had for me. I had some support of my family but I had the overflowing support of my church family. Also God reassured me in so many different ways of my life. He even wrote it down for me once. Im not joking. God is so good. So since I was born, God was preparing me for this. He knew long ago I would be taking hold of this journey to learn so much more about him and the things he wants to teach me through that. So keep reading, while I keep posting, the amazing things Im about to learn and experience with our God.
